How has your life
changed since the transition from NCAA to the pro's? Do you feel more
or less pressure coming from a starter at a prominent university and
now being a 2nd stringer at the professional level?
By J.J. From Buffalo, NY
"The
professional level is the highest pressure there is. There are 53 guys
on a roster only 47 dress and at any minute you may be called on to
contribute. You better be ready."
What is it like playing in the same secondary with Ed Reed?
Do you think you could take him in the boxing ring?
Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions.
By April From Sterling, VA
"Ed is the best that has ever played the game. I teach him a little about boxing and he teaches me a whole lot about football"
do you do any boxing training are is it all football stuff? like pads are bag are jump rope? would it help?
By o shea From chicago, IL
"Boxing
helps with football. Football doesn't help with boxing. I always try to
do some boxing training when I can fit it into my schedule."
How did you Think your first career NFL start would go?
By Sean From Arlington Heights, IL
"Good. Ups and downs. Pretty much the way it went. Wish we would have won the first game I played"

Witaj Tom,
Hope you have found some good kielbasa in Baltimore.
Did your family originally come from the town of Zbikow, in Poland ?
That's where my grandfather was born 1905.
Good luck with the rest of the season, and I hope that you make the play-offs.
By Jim Cybulski From Harpers Ferry, WV
"Is
Zbikow really a town? Because if it is maybe that's where the family
came from. Most of my family (still have relatives there) came from
Warsaw .When I have a craving for kielbasa I call my Dad and he goes to
Polish Broadway (Milwaukee Ave.) in Chicago and ships me some (with
extra garlic)"
If you could pick any
position on the field right now,and you would be a starter at all
times, which position would it be and why?
By Shannon Harvey From Baltimore, MD
"Punt returner and a wide receiver."
What does it feel like to have a concussion and are you nervous about getting another one when you play?
By Michael From ,
"It's
a funny feeling but it's not funny. You feel like you're waking up from
a dream. You should notify coaches right away. Anytime you play contact
sports the percentages are you will get one at some time. Just make
sure you have good equipment and good trainers. Don't go back and play
until you're ready and the doctor says you're ready. You endanger
yourself and your fellow players if you are not 100%"
What is it like to not be a starter after playing so many years as one?
By Johnny From B'More, MD
"Its
tough to not be a big impact player but you get used to the role. The
sooner you realize what your role is on the team the sooner you can
contribute in that way. I have to become the best at whatever role it
is that I have been given. Right now my role is to play special teams
and be ready at any time to play on defense. I have really become a
student of the game!
"
Why did you choose football over boxing?
By Josh From Albany, NY
"You
only get one chance at a football career and I need to make it count.
There is a huge difference in team and individual sports. In football
you have a locker room that you cant beat that kind of commrodery you
always have each others back. Football isnt as intense as a boxing
fight, its fun, its a kids game. Boxing is an individual sport you win
and you lose on your own and that comes with a lot of pride.
